The short version

We are a video podcast production, authority-building, and marketing systems company. We build the solutions that put our clients in front of the right audience, and we run the systems behind them.

This is our first hire of this kind, and that shapes everything about it.

You would not be stepping into a finished role with a manual waiting for you. The systems exist, and several of them are genuinely good, but they were built by the founder for the founder. Your job is to run them, and then make them better. When you find the gap, we expect you to write the fix rather than wait for someone to hand you a process.

Day to day you are the person who keeps the operation moving: our GoHighLevel account, our follow-up, our website requests, our client experience, and our social publishing. You are the reason nothing sits waiting.

Read this part twice

If you want a defined lane with clear edges, this is not the right fit, and we would rather tell you that now than six weeks in. If you want to help build the thing you are running, keep reading.

What you will own

1. GoHighLevel and administrative operations

This is your home base. Live in our CRM and operations stack and get good enough at it that people come to you with questions instead of the other way around. Keep records accurate, pipelines current, and automations doing what they are supposed to do.

2. Follow-up

This is the highest-leverage thing you will do, and the part of our business most in need of a dedicated person.

Leads come in and some of them go quiet, not because they were not interested, but because nobody circled back at the right time. You own that cadence: who is owed a touch, when, in what channel, and you own the fact that it actually happens.

Better follow-up is what fills the calendar. Treat it as the point of the job, not the administrative tail of it.

3. Intake calls

We run a fifteen-minute call as the first step for anyone considering working with us. You would take those.

To be clear about what this is and is not: there is no quota, no commission, and no closing. The founder runs the strategy sessions and handles conversion. Your job on an intake call is to understand what someone is trying to accomplish, decide whether we are a fit, and route accordingly. Strong fits go onto the founder's calendar. Poor fits get an honest answer and a referral where we have one.

You are helping someone make a buying decision. That is all selling should ever be, and it is why we keep the word off the title.

The process is already built, including the reference material and a dashboard that makes the call easy to run. You are not inventing this. Volume today is light, held in reserved slots through the week, and we are about to begin advertising, so expect it to grow.

4. Website requests and changes

Handle incoming website work: copy updates, section changes, swaps, and page adjustments. Beyond that, you should be able to stand up a new landing page or funnel using our existing page system and templates. We have the architecture and the standards documented, so you would be working inside them rather than designing from a blank canvas.

5. Client relations and account management

Be accountable for every existing client's experience. Confirm bookings, run and act on account audits, and notice when a client has not booked and go book them. Handle the human touches too, including the card that goes out on a birthday.

Think about how the best waiter or waitress you have ever had treated you. They were glad to see you, they knew what to say, they walked you to your seat, they got you a coffee, they made sure you were comfortable, and they showed you the ropes. That is the standard when a client comes through our door.

6. Social media execution, growing into strategy

Day one, you keep client and in-house accounts published, maintained, and on schedule. Over the first ninety days we want you moving from executing the plan to having opinions about it. We will teach you how we think about content. Arriving with strategy instincts is a plus, not a requirement.

7. Editing assistance

Lowest priority, and only when everything above is clear. Light support in DaVinci Resolve when it is needed: trimming a clip, extending a clip, tightening a cut. No color grading, no deep audio work. If you have never opened Resolve, we will teach you.

Your first ninety days

We will tell you what the ramp looks like rather than leaving you to guess at it.

WindowWhat you are expected to be doing
Days 1 to 30Get fluent in GoHighLevel and in how we do things: our standards, our language, our brands. Shadow intake calls, then start taking them with support. Own booking confirmations and start running our follow-up sequences. Publish social from existing plans. Handle straightforward website edits.
Days 31 to 60Run intake end to end, including routing and booking strategy sessions. Own the follow-up cadence and be accountable for whether it happened. Own account audits and the list of clients who have not booked. Build your first new page from our system, with review.
Days 61 to 90Report your own numbers weekly without being asked. Find at least one process that is slower or messier than it needs to be, fix it, and document the fix so it holds. Start contributing to content strategy on at least one brand. Be positioned to absorb the increase in volume when our advertising scales, rather than handing it back.

That last one is the real test of this role, and it is why we are looking for a builder rather than a task-taker.

What we are looking for

Non-negotiable

  • Self-led. You do not need a queue handed to you. You can look at the state of things and decide what matters most today.
  • Proactive. You are the "how can I" type. When the instructions are incomplete, you figure it out and run with it.
  • A builder's instinct. When you hit a broken or missing process, your reaction is to improve it and write it down, not to route around it.
  • Organized. Follow-up is the center of this job. Nothing can go missing.
  • Detail-oriented. A missing period should bother you. It bothers us.
  • Comfortable on the phone. You can take a call from a stranger and hold a real conversation without dreading it.
  • Honest over agreeable. We would rather give someone the best information than tell them what they want to hear. You need to be comfortable saying we may not be the right fit.
  • Coachable. You can take direct feedback and correction without it becoming a problem, and do it again next week.
  • Invested. You care about the quality of what leaves your hands. "It is just a caption" is not how you think.
  • Reliable and on time. We will ask your references about this specifically.
  • Available during standard business hours, weekdays, in person at our Overland Park office.
  • Able to drive and have reliable transportation.

Willing to learn (experience welcome, not required)

  • GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM and automation platform
  • Claude and AI-assisted workflows. A good part of this job is knowing how to put our AI tools to work rather than doing everything by hand.
  • Website page building inside a visual builder
  • DaVinci Resolve, at a basic trim and extend level

Nice to have

  • Hands-on social media, web, or client success background. Hospitality experience is genuinely relevant here.
  • Strategy instincts on content, which we will develop either way
  • Comfort representing a brand in a room. Down the road, and only when you are ready, there may be an opportunity to attend local networking groups with us. Not as a closer. As a connector who makes introductions and is glad to be there.

Logistics

ItemDetail
Hours24 hours per week, spread across five weekdays in shorter shifts rather than a few long days. We will set the specific times together. We expect to grow this to four or five full days as new client revenue allows, and we are telling you that as a real intention rather than a guarantee, because we would rather be straight with you than oversell it.
LocationIn person, Overland Park, Kansas
EquipmentA laptop of your own, ideally a Mac. We do not run PCs here. This is low on the list and not a requirement, but having your own is a real plus when we are weighing candidates. If you do not have one and we want to hire you, we will find a solution.
Compensation$15 per hour to start. Raises here are tied to demonstrated skill growth and added responsibility, and we will tell you what those look like up front rather than leaving you guessing.
Reports toThe founder and the team lead

About us

JT VSUALS is a small, fast-moving team in the Kansas City area. We produce video podcasts and build the marketing systems that turn them into authority and demand for our clients.

We hold ourselves to a few things: integrity in how we deal with people, solutions over services, efficiency because it is worth it, and generosity toward the people we work with and for. Faith shapes how the founder runs this company and how we treat people, and you will find that in the culture rather than in any requirement of you.

You would be joining early enough that what you build here becomes how it is done.

To apply

Email [email protected] with three things:

  1. Your resume, one page. Not two. Being able to decide what matters and cut the rest is part of this job, and the one-page limit is the first place we get to see you do it.
  2. Three references, listed on the resume. Name, title, company, how they know you, phone and email. At least two should be people who directly supervised you. "References available upon request" does not meet this.
  3. A short note telling us why this role, and one thing you would want to be good at a year from now that you are not good at yet.

On the references: we ask for them up front because reliability and self-direction are the two things that matter most in this role and the two things an interview cannot verify.

JT VSUALS LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
